Quick answer: It depends on the coin’s network: Bitget waits for as few as 1 confirmation (ICP) and as many as 1,000 (ETC), the longest wait of anything this site tracks.

Every other guide on this site looks at one asset’s confirmation counts in isolation. This one steps back and ranks all of them by their single slowest network — the number Bitget actually waits on before your funds land, not an estimate.

Confirmation count isn’t wall-clock time

A confirmation is one additional block mined on top of the block containing your transaction — how long that takes depends entirely on that specific blockchain’s block time, which this table doesn’t show. A chain with a fast block time and a high confirmation requirement can still finish sooner than a slow chain with a low one. Treat this ranking as “how conservative is Bitget being on this chain,” not a direct minutes-to-credit comparison across rows.

Why the gap is so large

Chains with fast, cheap block production (Bitget waiting only a handful of confirmations) and chains that prioritize longer finality windows (Bitget waiting hundreds, occasionally over a thousand) coexist in this table because they’re genuinely different pieces of infrastructure, not because Bitget applies the policy inconsistently — the confirmation count reflects the chain’s own design, not the asset moving over it.

Where to look next

If one specific asset has a network worth waiting less for, its own cheapest-vs-fastest guide breaks down the fee trade-off, not just the wait.
