About

ChainTool exists to answer one question well: what does it actually cost to move crypto, network by network, on a given exchange? Not what an exchange's marketing page says, and not a guess — the number the exchange itself currently charges.

How the numbers are sourced

Every figure on this site is read directly from the exchange's own public API at build time. Nothing is typed in by hand into a page. The code behind every table — including the exact filters used to decide what counts as a "listed asset" or a "withdrawable network" — is not secret; it works the same way for every guide on the site.

Figures are re-checked against live data before each publish. If a number has drifted, the page isn't published until it's refreshed.

What we deliberately don't publish

• Sign-up bonus amounts — these live on campaign pages behind bot protection, change without a public changelog, and can't be verified the same way a withdrawal fee can.
• Commission rates or trading volume figures.
• Any number we can't point to a live, dated source for.

How this site makes money

Some links on this site are affiliate links — see the affiliate disclosure for the full explanation. The commission relationship has no influence on the fee and network data itself, which comes from the exchanges' own public endpoints regardless of any affiliate arrangement.
